Part 2: The Adventure Trail: From Off-Roading to the Glass Bridge
Ready for some adrenaline? Wayanad delivers! Our next stop was the infamous 900 Kandi, a spot that promises both challenge and reward.
The journey itself is an experience:
- The Off-Road Challenge: A crucial heads-upโthe drive to 900 Kandi is a serious off-road challenge. It’s an adrenaline rush for adventurers, but visitors with back issues, senior citizens, or pregnant individuals are strongly advised to proceed with caution.
- The Glass Bridge View: The minor aches of the journey are absolutely worth it for the payoff! The view from the spectacular Glass Bridge is breathtaking.
- Thrilling Activities: In addition to the bridge, we enjoyed the zipline, rope course, and even a jeep cycle activity.
After the excitement, we sought some serenity at the nearby Kanthanpara Waterfall. We chose this spot specifically for its simple, non-strenuous path, allowing us to soak in the peaceful and serene sounds of the water.

Part 3: Conquering the Longest Zipline at Karapuzha Dam
No trip to Wayanad is complete without a visit to the Karapuzha Dam, home to an exciting array of activities. The main highlight was tackling what is referred to as the longest zipline in Wayanad!
It was a fantastic day of adventure that also included a Giant Swing and a stop at the public aquarium located just after the dam. It’s the perfect spot for a fun-filled day out with friends or family.
