We had short trip (2 night 3 days ) to kodaikanal during begining of November 2018, Sister and Bro in law wanted to see some nice hill station, they flew from Nagpur to Bangalore stayed overnight , we had plan to start Road trip by 4 am but end up delaying to 6 am. We took nice road to have quick fast exist from city , crossed Hosur and after 2 hours of good drive we had breakfast at Sarvana Bhavan @ Sundagiri , we fuled up our car as there was gas station attached to Sarvana bhavan , we started our journey and we noticed A2B (oops). on the way we saw so many scenic spot , we stopped took photos and again continued. Another point so many tolls ๐ ๐ , i think we might have paid 1000+ (up and down ) on toll fees only. Ghat Road drive of Kodaikanal is relatively easy. On the way we covered Silver Cascade waterfall. prior to visiting kodaikanal we did good research about hotels and resorts , we we selected Jem Valley , this resort situated at highest peak and offer very nice view. Hotel is very good , staff are courteous , rooms are nicely maintained and bonus is awesome view from any corner of hotel, Indian bison are regular visitor near to this property. only difficulty we faced is drive , since it is situated in good high slope not even our but we have seen many tourist car was having tough time to drive upwards , so if you are very beginner driver then you might face difficulty reaching Jem Valley. Otherwise this hotel is highly recommended. we covered almost all spots in Kodaikanal : Coakers Walk , Ferry Falls , Vattakanal Water Falls, dolphin nose , Pillars Rock , Moir point , Upper lake view , Brayant park , market and Pine Forest. All are very nice. We had very nice time in kodai , and we will surely visit again.
